As the adoption of Building Information Modeling (BIM) accelerates we are seeing a huge uptake by contractors, especially on larger projects.
This is great to see as it shows the true power of BIM in order to bring all of a project’s stakeholders together. Increased sharing of information and advanced tools allow the building project to run more efficiently and reduce errors on site.
One great use of this BIM information is construction simulations or BIM 4D (3D data plus the dimension of time). These are a fantastic tool to educate others on a project’s critical path and the build process.
