I'm using revit architectural 2011 and I can't either use the family, when I open it, it appears to be empty. is there any way to use this family?

I'm using Revit 2013. Is the family a single tile? I've tried to insert the family and also opened the file itself and it appears to be empty? I've tried both coarse and fine view but nothing.
